Well, you will be happy to know that Linux is almost completely supported by jobBuddy (just see the one little note below). Anyway, here is how to install jobBuddy in Linux: Most Linux distributions already have Python installed by default (Suse might be excluded).However, it is a good idea to check. Just open up a terminal and type in python. If the interpreter comes up then close the window and go to step 2. If you are not lucky enough to have python pre-installed, use a package manager to get it or go to http://www.python.org/download/  Chances are that you will need to also install wxPython. This can easily be done here: http://www.wxpython.org/download.php#binaries. Please note that for Ubuntu/Debian it is best to go through the repository. Download and extract this zip file and run jobBuddyGUI.py. Just in case you need it, here is the tutorial.
